Hilltop Baptist School is a private Christian school located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school is a ministry of Hilltop Baptist Church and belongs to the Southern Baptist Association of Christian Schools (SBACS).

History

The school was founded in 1979 and was in continuous operation until the end of the 2010/2011 school year. The school closed in 2011 due to declining enrollment.

Students and faculty

The school has a 12:1 student-teacher ratio overall with an 8:1 student-teacher ratio in the Talent Development program.

2010 - 2011 school year, 26% of 7-12th grade students received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award. National average for any school is 6-8%. Hilltop holds the all time record for most students in one class to receive the award.
